Cingular Burns Customers on RAZR Rebates
Uh-oh. Looks like you wont be getting cold, hard cash back from Cingular when you buy a $99 Moto RAZR. Michael Schwan recently activated two new lines with Cingular and decided to go with the $99 RAZR deal for phones. A few weeks later an envelope came in the mail from Cingular but there was no check inside.

To that guy who was talkin about the phones in the U.S. u r so right i can’t stand it!!! I’m with Cingular and all they’ve been talkin bout for tha past year is that damn Motorola RAZR V3 it makes me wanna puke it’s the lamest phone out and they act like it’s this great amazing wonder. So when i got a new phone a coupla months back the best thing in my opinion was the Siemens S66 (S65 in Europe), but now i see that they have a Sony Ericsson which is appealing. They need to just let people buy whatever they want instead of sayin here’s the 3 phones we managed to get now CHOOSE or go buy them for 100x what they’re worth somewhere else. UGHH so i can imagin how ripped off im gonna be when i buy the Nokia N91 if Cingular doesn’t carry it !!!!!!
Cingular Considering iTunes Phones
Cingular Wireless, the No. 1 U.S. mobile service, is considering selling a Motorola Inc. cell phone that can play music using Apple Computer Inc.'s (Nasdaq:AAPL - news) iTunes music service, sources familiar with the matter said on Friday. "Motorola and Apple have been talking to Cingular about it using the iTunes phone," according to one of the sources, who asked not to be named. RBC Capital analyst Mark Sue said in a recent research note that Apple and Cingular were working out final details on revenue sharing.
