Satellite Services to Provide Space Shuttle Video Feeds and Digitally-Enhanced NASA TV
NASA will utilize AGS' satellite services via Marshall, to provide Space Shuttle video feeds during pre-launch, launch and re-entry. AGS will also broadcast NASA TV, which is transitioning from one analog channel to multiple digital channels. NASA uses the video feeds and TV broadcasts for ongoing scientific analysis, educational initiatives and distribution to news media outlets.

"This year, the first mobile phones will come to shops which allow you to record VHS quality video. This will happen in Asia. The strongest multimedia drive at the moment is in Japan and Korea," said Eero Kaikkonen, Hantro's chief executive, referring to analog VHS video quality. "Next year it will be VGA quality," he added, referring to the Video Graphic Array standard, with a resolution of 640 by 480 pixels per individual picture.
